2007 International Balloon Fiesta Trip to New Mexico

The first day we enjoyed the EXPLORA museum. Explora: Creating opportunities for inspirational discovery and the joy of
lifelong learning through interactive experiences in science, technology and
art.
Consumers had a great time exploring the museum hands on. They participated
in a class where they learned to make music out of ordinary objects. Consumers
report that this was their favorite museum to visit due to the hands on
experience they gained.
Early Friday morning the consumers participated in Special Shaped Balloon
Ascension. They watched in awe as multiple different shapes found their way into
the great blue sky.
After the balloon ascension we visited the New Mexico Museum
of Natural History and Science. There on display was:

T.
REX ATTACK!
Polar-Palooza
Consumers also enjoyed viewing objects through the microscopes, making
various animal tracks in the sand and exploring through volcanoes.
In
the Dyna Theatre they enjoyed an exciting movie filled with the history of the
Cowboy.
Ride
Around the World. The Planetarium was an awesome experience where they were
exposed to astronomy and space exploration. Enchanted Skies: The Digital Universe & It’s About Time.
That evening we traveled back to the Balloon Fiesta to watch the Glowdeo
where high winds canceled the event. We had a great time anyway and watched the
fireworks.
Saturday morning we visited the Rio Grande Zoo. Consumers were amazed at the
zoo life and had many questions and especially laughed at the monkeys. The camel
ride and the train ride were among the favorites.

We then enjoyed the Train Ride around the botanical gardens and arrived at
the Aquarium where we got to watch the divers in the shark tank feed all of the
aquarium life.
